EWOT (Exercise With Oxygen Therapy)
EWOT means exercising for a short period while breathing oxygen-enriched air, and is used at our office as part of a wellness and recovery routine.
A session pairs light exercise — typically on a bike or similar equipment — with a mask supplying oxygen-enriched air. Sessions are short and supervised, and you set the pace.
We use EWOT as part of the Superhuman Protocol or on its own for patients with stamina and recovery goals. Because it involves exertion, we screen your cardiovascular and respiratory history before you begin.
Who this treatment may be appropriate for

- Uncontrolled hypertension, cardiac disease, COPD and other significant cardiorespiratory conditions require medical clearance.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be fit to try EWOT?
No. Sessions are short and paced to you, but we do screen your heart and lung history first because exercise is involved.
Can I combine it with chiropractic visits?
Yes, many patients schedule both in one visit. Our front desk can arrange the timing.
