Neck Pain
Neck pain is often a combination of joint restriction, muscle tension and sustained posture; care addresses all three rather than only the sore spot.
Desk work, phone use, sleep position and old injuries all leave the neck holding positions it was not built to hold for hours. Over time, joints stiffen and muscles fatigue, and the result can be local pain, tension headaches, or discomfort that spreads into the shoulder and arm.
We examine how each segment of your neck moves, test for nerve involvement, and treat with adjusting, soft-tissue work and specific exercise. Practical changes to your workstation, sleep setup and movement breaks matter as much as what happens in the office.
Who this care is usually appropriate for
- Stiffness or restricted turning
- Tension that builds through the workday
- Neck pain with headaches
- Discomfort or tingling into the shoulder or arm
Important considerations & when not to proceed
- Sudden severe neck pain with fever, or after a significant accident, needs urgent medical assessment.
- Progressive arm weakness, dizziness or visual change should be evaluated before any manual treatment.

Frequently asked questions
Will my neck be adjusted at the first visit?
Only if the examination supports it and you are comfortable with it. Several techniques are available, including low-force instrument options.
Can neck problems cause my headaches?
They can. Tension and cervicogenic headaches often trace back to the upper neck, and improving how those joints move frequently reduces headache frequency.
