Most simple episodes of low back pain ease noticeably within two to six weeks, and care is usually aimed at a defined number of visits with a review point rather than an open-ended plan. Pain that involves a disc, has been recurring for years, or refers into the leg generally takes longer.

How should I set up my desk to stop neck and shoulder pain?
Put the top of your screen at roughly eye level, keep elbows near your sides at about 90 degrees, support your feet and lower back, and change position every 30 to 45 minutes. Position matters, but changing position matters more.
